The absolute best part of my job is helping to tell the love stories of my couples. For so many, I first connect with them leading up to their wedding day. Which is why it was SO special to reconnect with Dani (one of my old college friends!!) & Andrew for their one year anniversary, after capturing their wedding day last year! They were only in town for a quick stop so we made the most of it by taking in a beautiful Minneapolis Summer evening.

To mark their wedding anniversary, we spent time at Minnehaha Falls and St. Anthony Main to capture the beauty of their first year as a married couple. They were so intentional with little touches to bring to the shoot – Andrew wore the shirt he wore at the wedding and Dani brought the same floral boutique she walked down the aisle with and the lace top she has on was what went over her wedding dress. So perfect, right??

Whenever I’m with Dani & Andrew, I wish we could stretch out our hours together because it is never enough. They have the most contagious happiness and you can’t help but smile back at them the whole time you’re with them. I had an absolute blast with these two taking in the magic of summer in the city.
