The Subscription I Swear By: Book of the Month Club

If you’re looking for new books to keep you busy while you’re staying home, meet your new favorite subscription box: Book of the Month Club.

I’m pretty frugal when it comes to subscriptions, but this is one that I look forward to every month. (I’ve been a member for 2+ years & am obsessed!)

If you’re on the fence, I’m answering the most commonly asked questions about what a membership is like below:

How does it work?

Each month, Book of the Month Club picks 5 of the top new releases & you choose your fave. (Or if you can’t decide like me you can choose up to 3 books)

Not feeling the picks this month?

No worries! You always have the option to choose a book or choose to skip, each and every month. And if you do skip, you won’t be charged.

Why I love it:

I read so much more since starting BOTM, plus it takes some of the decision out of what to read next. They do such a good job of picking books too! (I love 99% of the books I’ve read through BOTM.)

How much does it cost?

There are a couple of different payment plan options. You can either choose to pay monthly at $14.99/month or annually at $12.99/month. Each month, you can “add on” up to two other books from the five selections (or from past months if they’re still available!) for $9.99. AND shipping is always free!

For your first month though, you can choose a book for only $5 using my referral link!

Is it worth it?

I think so, but I already read well over one book each month! Because BOTM chooses 5 of the best new releases each month, you’re getting a book for $14.99 (tops) when you’d usually pay over $20 for a new release.

Can I cancel at any time?

Of course! If you ever want to cancel, it’s super easy — just like any other subscription. 😘
