Ivy & Mike’s elopement this September was relaxed, intimate and a pure celebration of love. Their day took place at the stunning Cotton Mansion, a venue that was truly made for intimate elopements right in Duluth. These two were able to take in the day at a beautifully present pace as they focused on the main detail of the upcoming promise of marriage.

Ivy got ready with her mom and grandma by her side, before exchanging “I Do’s” with Mike in front of their loved ones. It was such a fun day but then again, every time I get to work with the talented team at Northland Special Events, magic follows!

What is it about the other person you can’t live without?

Mike and I are very opposite that we balance the other out. I’m a perfectionist who likes every thing done a certain way, Mike is so calm and mellow, we’re both these two different personalities to the extreme. He calms me down and I motivate him.

 

Tell me about your ideal date night!

We also have very opposite schedules so although we live together, we could go a whole week only seeing each other for a max of four hours. Which means that when we do both have the same time off, we really cherish it. We will often times watch one of our favorite shows after getting take out or going to dinner. In the summer we go to Dairy Queen a lot with our dog.
