Ah to look back on the heat of summer. Sam & Alex got married on a sweet summer day and didn’t let one of the hotter days or the tumultuous roller coaster of this past year stop them from having an idyllic wedding. 

Sam & Alex met move in day at college and have been a team ever since. They truly are the perfect match complimenting each other in every way and words cannot describe how happy I am for these two. I too met Sam & Alex as they started at Gustavus, making their wedding day extra special for me to capture since I’ve been able to know them for so many years.

What do you love/admire most about your partner? 

Alex is the most patient person I know, which is so important for getting through difficult times. He is always so supportive no matter what, and knows how to love unconditionally. He has such a fun sense of humor, and always makes me smile. Sam is determined, hard working, and compassionate. She has the best smile and always reminds me of how much I mean to her.

 

What is marriage to you? 

While marriage means so many things for us, we believe marriage is a promise to love each other unconditionally through the good times and bad. It is a commitment to be supportive of one another no matter what. Through our marriage we want to build a strong foundation for our family and remember that even when times get hard, we will always have each other. We will be best friends for a lifetime together and we couldn’t be more excited for the big day.
