Kailey is one of those friends you wish for. She’s got a heart of gold & has been a constant in my life as we’ve grown from little kids to two gals taking on their 20s. We’ve spent our lives learning, laughing & growing alongside each other, and now, I get to stand next to her as she marries her person.
Kailey & Seth first met at college, and while Seth was smitten with Kailey right away (I don’t blame him), they didn’t officially start dating until a couple of years later. Over their dating relationship, I’ve gotten to know Seth and couldn’t be more grateful that they found their way to each other. As you’ll see in a moment, their love for each other (and for everyone around them) simply radiates & I’m honored to know them & call them both my friends.
This past Valentine’s Day we celebrated love in one of the best ways possible – an engagement session, double date & road trip up the North Shore. As February would have it, temps dipped well below zero and for those that have experienced the cold of the North Shore, you know it’s not an easy feat to spend the day out in the negative temps. We spent the day running in & out of the heated car, trekking through snow, & snuggling in blankets by the lake. In other words, we made the most of every moment. (Which is easy to do with these two – as they’re the warmest souls around.)
We started the day at Cedar Coffee Company in Two Harbors and then made our way North stopping at their favorite spots – Black Sand Beach, Tettegouche and ending with sunset at Sugarloaf Cove.
Take a scroll through to see the joy these two brought to our wintery day up the shore, the same love they continue to bless so many lives (mine included!) with!
Kailey + Seth, I can not wait to celebrate your big day in a few short weeks and to keep doing life with you after that!
